Add a favorite asset to a batch of images

With Batch mode, you can add a favorite asset to many images all at once!

You can use Batch Mode to add a favorite asset, such as a logo or special offer badge, to many images at once. For example, you could add a sales label to six images in a collection. We call a collection a "batch".

For instructions, select the link for your device:

Note: The Favorite Assets & Brand Kit is only available on iPhone, iPad, and Android. You cannot add favorites on the Web App.


On iPhone and iPad

For these instructions, we assume that you already set up a favorite image (see Add an image to your favorites).

When you have a favorite image in place:

  1. On the Create page, select Batch Mode.

  2. Select Start Batch.

  3. Select all of the images that you want to include in the batch and then select Add.

  4. Select a template for the background.

  5. Select one of the images in the batch to edit it.

  6. Select Insert.

  7. Select Favorites.

  8. Select the favorite asset you want to add.

  9. Select the Back icon.

  10. At the prompt, either:

    Photoroom is displaying a prompt. It asks if you would like to apply these changes to the whole batch. There is an apply to all button and a preview of the image.
    1. Select Apply to all to add your changes to all of the images in the batch.

    2. Wait until the prompt disappears if you only want the changes to apply to one image in the batch.

  11. Select Export.

  12. Select:

    1. Save Image
      To save the images to your device's photo gallery.

    2. Share
      To share your images with other devices and platforms.

    3. Save to Files
      To save the image files to a folder on your device.

    4. Make it a video
      To create a video of your images.

    5. Export to Web
      To upload the images to your desktop account.

  13. Select Done to return to the Batch page.


On Android

For these instructions, we assume that you already set up a favorite image (see Add an image to your favorites).

When you have a favorite image in place:

  1. On the Create page, select Batch.

  2. Select Start New Batch.

  3. Select all of the images that you want to include in the batch and then select the Add <number of images> button.

  4. Select a template for the background.

  5. Select one of the images in the batch to edit it.

  6. Select Insert.

  7. Scroll to the Favorites section and select Scans, Texts, or Backgrounds, depending on what type of favorite asset you want.

  8. Select the favorite asset.

  9. Select the Back icon.

  10. At the prompt, either:

    Photoroom is displaying a prompt. It asks if you would like to apply these changes to the whole batch. There is an apply to all button and a preview of the image.
    1. Select Apply to all to add your changes to all of the images in the batch.

      If the prompt closes before you had time to select Apply to all, select the image and then select back again. The prompt will reappear.

    2. Select the X in the corner or wait until the prompt disappears if you only want the changes to apply to one image in the batch.

  11. Select Export.

  12. Select:

    1. Save to gallery
      To save the images to your phone's photo gallery.

    2. Share
      To share your images with other devices and platforms.

  13. Select back to return to the Batch page.
