Working with Product Beautifier
When using Product Beautifier, be aware that:
It is currently available in selected countries on the Web App and iOS versions of Photoroom. It is coming soon to Android. For more details, see Photoroom and OpenAI gpt images.
AI images can have differences to the original photo, especially with more complex patterns, shapes and text. AI images are "interpretations" of the source content and can have differences to the source image.
There are limits on how many Product Beautifier images you can generate. For details, see Photoroom and OpenAI gpt images.
On iPhone and iPad
In the following video, we show you how to:
Use Product Beautifier to create an AI image that includes a background.
Use Product Beautifier to create an AI image and then remove its background so that you can use the product image on its own layer in a design.
(Video shows Photoroom on iPhone)
Select Content.
Select the workspace you want to work in.
Select AI Tools.
Select Product Beautifier.
Select + Add your photo and then upload a photo of your product.
Set the dimensions of the image that Photoroom will create. Choose from:
Square
Portrait (2:3 ratio)
Landscape (3:2 ratio).
Select the arrow button.
Photoroom will generate 2 images. It should take approximately 1 minute to complete and the progress is shown as percentages.
When you have 2 images, select the one you want to use. Alternatively, select the arrow button to make alternatives. Note that there is a limit on how many images you can generate (for details, see Photoroom and OpenAI gpt images).
Use Remove background to include or exclude the AI background from the design.
If you remove the background, you will get a design that has an empty background layer and the foreground objects, such as your product, on another layer. Later, you'll be able to add a background of your own choice, such as a color background or an AI background.
If you keep the background, you will get the entire AI image on a single layer in your design.
Select Use image.
[Optional] Use the editing features to make additional changes, such as add text, shapes, and other design elements. You can also add a background of your own choice. To learn how to use the editing features, see Features and tools.
[Optional] Select Export. Use the export options to save your design as an image file and to share it with other people.
Select X to save your design and close the editor.
Tip: To use the AI product photo on a Photoroom template, first use Product Beautify to create the product image. Remove its background and then export the image. Import the image as a new design and Photoroom will let you choose a template as the background. To learn how to import the image as a new design, see Create your first Photoroom design.
