Use the Edit with AI tool to make changes to Batch images using a prompt. Describe the changes you want, and let Photoroom do the rest.

Availability

  • Pro users can use Edit with AI on individual Batch images.

  • ​Max and Ultra users can use Edit with AI on multiple Batch images at once.

  • Product Catalog requires a Max or Ultra plan to export and publish.​

Each generation uses AI credits.

Steps (Web App)

To use Edit with AI to change Batch images:

Stage 1: Access the Edit with AI tool

  1. Create a batch of images.

  2. Select AI Tools.

  3. Select Edit with AI.

    Alternatively, select an image in a batch to display its pill menu. Then select More tools and Edit with AI.
    ​

Stage 2: Use the Edit with AI settings

Use the Edit with AI settings to give Photoroom instructions:

  1. Select the batch image(s) you want to edit.

  2. Enter a prompt to describe what changes you want the AI to make, for example, "Change the color of the sale sign to sky blue".

    ​Tip: You can use the options to help you build a prompt:

    • Recent lets you choose from recently used prompts. They appear in a menu.

    • Add starts a prompt for adding something to the images

    • Remove starts a prompt for removing something from the images.
      ​

  3. Select Edit image to generate the images.

Photoroom generates an edited version of each selected image based on your settings. Each image generation uses AI credits.


​Note: The Edit with AI settings are the same as the settings for the standalone Edit with AI tool.

Stage 3: Edit your Batch images

The editing steps in this stage are optional. Features that use AI to generate an image require AI credits.

In Batch, you can edit Batch images in several ways:

  • Use the Batch Editor options in the side menu

  • Select a Batch image and use the options available from its pill menu

  • Open an image in the main editor to make edits that are unavailable in the Batch Editor, such as adding text and graphics.

Stage 4: Download

When you have finished editing, select Download to download your images. Photoroom does not save batch images as designs.

Tip: After downloading batch images, you can re-import them as new images to use with templates, continue editing, and save them as designs.
