When you are working with the AI tools to generate images, there are often several stages to the editing process. For the final stage, you choose an image to work with and then have options for making further changes, downloading the image, or opening the image in the main editor.
In this article, we include a brief description of these options, with links to articles that explain how to use them.
Arrow buttons
Load next or previous generated image.
Reuse these settings
Use Reuse these settings to copy the image's settings to the editor. You can use them as the starting point for a new image generation. This can help you save time when you need to create similar images.
For details, see Reuse the same settings for AI images (Web App).
Fix product
Use the Fix product feature to regenerate a selected area of an image. For the regeneration, the AI refers to the original source image and produces a more accurate version.
For details, see Improve the accuracy (fidelity) of the object in the image.
Edit with AI
Use Edit with AI to use a text prompt to describe changes to the image. Photoroom will then generate a new image based on the previous image and the changes you requested.
For details, see Use a prompt to describe changes.
Edit cutout
Edit cutout is only available when the background has been removed. It lets you add and remove parts of the main foreground layer, useful for fine tuning the edges.
For details, see Remove and restore with Edit cutout (Web App).
Generate video
Use the Video Generator to create a short video of the image.
For details, see Create a video with Video Generator (Web App).
Resize
Use to change the size of the image. Only available when the background is included.
For more details, see Resize an AI image (Web App).
Retouch
Retouch is available from the ... More actions option, but only when the background is present (not removed).
Use Retouch to remove unwanted parts of an image.
For details, see Remove parts of an image with Retouch (Web App).
Use this image
Open the image in the main editor where you can make further changes, such as add text or graphics.
If you open the image in the main editor, it is saved to your Designs when you exit the editor.
For more details, see Open an AI image in the main editor (Web App).
Download
Download the image as is, with no further changes.
