Photoroom offers several subscription plans, each designed for different types of users and their needs.

With each subscription, you get:

  • A Space to work in.

  • Access to different features and limits.

The features and limits for each Space vary, depending on which plan is in place.

Free plan

The Free plan is free of charge and lets you work in a Free Space (an area where you can work on designs and save them). It is designed for people who are looking to create basic visuals and who would like to explore how AI could help with product images.

When you log in for the first time, Photoroom automatically creates a Free Space for you.

In a Free Space:

Depending on what you want to do, the Free plan may be all you need. But you will need to upgrade to a paid subscription plan if you want to:

  • Use Photoroom's more advanced AI features.

  • Use Batch Mode to edit and export multiple images at once.

  • Enjoy higher AI-generation limits.

  • Use the Photoroom API.

Pro plan

The Pro plan is designed for resellers and solopreneurs who need to create high-quality listings and marketing content.

If you subscribe to the Pro plan, you get a Pro Space.

  • You pay a weekly, monthly, or yearly subscription fee

  • You have access to Photoroom's Free and Pro features in that Pro Space

  • You can export unlimited images (fair usage terms apply)

  • You benefit from a high limit for AI generations.

Your Pro subscription only applies to the Space you purchased it for. It does not carry over into other Spaces.

To upgrade to Pro, see:

Max plan

The Max plan is designed for e-commerce sellers and businesses who need the highest generation limits, most advanced AI models, and access to all available features.

If you subscribe to the Max plan, you get a Max Space.

  • You pay a monthly or yearly subscription fee

  • You have access to all of Photoroom's Free, Pro, and Max features

  • You can export unlimited images (fair usage terms apply)

Your Max subscription only applies to the Space you purchased it for. It does not carry over into other Spaces.

To upgrade to Max, see:

Photoroom plans and Team Spaces

In Photoroom, you can have access to multiple Spaces, each with its own subscription. For example, you might have your own Personal Space and also be part of two teams, each with their own Team Spaces.

  • For a Personal Space, you pay for the subscription.

  • If you create a team, you pay for the subscription and the seats for each member of the team.

  • If you join someone else's Team Space, you don't pay any extra. The Team Admin pays for your seat.

Note: If you invite people to join your Personal Space, it automatically becomes a Team Space.

To learn more, see How do Team Spaces work? and Teams billing.

Can access to features vary in different Spaces?

Yes. Each Space requires a separate subscription.

When you are working in a Space, the features that you can use are defined by the subscription for that Space.

Example:

Let's say that you are a member of two Spaces:

  • Personal Space
You have a Pro subscription and can access Pro features.

  • Team Space
You can only access Free features.

You only have access to free features in the Team Space because the Team Space has no paid subscription. The Team Admin for that Space has not upgraded the team from Free to Pro or Max. As a result, all members of that Team Space are limited to using free features.
