Many of Photoroom's AI features allow you to enter a prompt. In the prompt, you describe the image you want the AI to create.

As a general rule, the more precise your prompts are, the better the results. To help give. you an idea of what is possible with prompts, here are some tips for common AI requests:

Prompts for generating clothing

Use the AI Image and AI Background feature to get the AI to add clothes to a person in an image. For example, if you have an image of a man in a suit, you could use AI to generate an image of the same man in a different suit.

First, edit your design and use the Cutout feature to remove the parts of the image you don't want to keep, such as the clothes the model is wearing (see Cutout options). Then use an AI feature, such as AI backgrounds, and describe the clothing you want in your prompt. For example:

"A man wearing a pink suit. He is walking in a city."

Prompts for placing jewellery on humans

If you have images of jewellery, such as earrings and necklaces, you can get the Photoroom AI to add them to a human model. This can give your audience a better idea of what the jewellery looks like when worn.

First, edit your design and use the Cutout feature to remove the parts of the image you don't want to keep, such as the background (see Cutout options). Then use an AI feature, such as AI backgrounds, and describe the image you want to create. For example:

"Place earring on woman's ear"

"Place watch on man's wrist".

Note: AI can have difficulties with some body parts, such as fingers, hands, and ears.

Prompts for placing clothes on a mannequin

With the AI Backgrounds feature, you can use prompts to add a mannequin to your clothing images. This is very useful if you have photos of people wearing clothing and you want to replace the people with mannequins.

First, edit your design and use the Cutout feature to remove the parts of the image you don't want to keep, such as the model's head, face, hands, and feet (see Cutout options). Then use an AI feature, such as AI backgrounds, and describe the image you want to create. For example:

"a mannequin wearing a suit on a white background".

Prompts for resizing objects in an AI image

If you use the AI Backgrounds and AI Images features, you may find that the AI makes your foreground object look smaller or larger than you would like. To solve this, you can describe the size in a manual prompt.

Use descriptive terms in your prompt, for example:

"Miniature object on a forest floor"

Or:

"Giant object on a forest floor"

These are just examples of size-related words you can use in prompts. Try experimenting with different terms and let your creativity run wild!
